“ Yummy food there. The fish tacos are to die for! I love the asada too! This is my #1 good to for the best street tacos ever! My favorite Pasadena Mexican food place for a quick bite to eat. They have several different types of tacos, burritos, Tortas, asada Fries and much more!! Across the street from them is there other restaurant that has a much larger menu plus they make fresh juices over there too. Delicious food! ”
“ Had to quickly stop by before my next city. They had good prices and their meat was seasoned well. Will return ”
“ THEY GOT THE BEST BURRITOS IN TOWN I love coming here they get my oder right 95 percent of the time sometimes something Is left out BUT the food taste and customers service... AMAZING...this is the spot for Mexican food... Love coming into town and stopping here ”
“ Bomb dot com , local and cheap without losing any of the quality! I hate asada tacos that have nerves and this isn’t the case here, the asada is super soft and full of flavor and my husband adored the carnitas. Went two days in a row and the quality did not change each day it came out amazing. Keep up the great work y’all :) ”
“ The food is delicious, and the service is wonderful. I personally don't stay there, but don't let my rating on the atmosphere dissuade you from trying it because the food is delicious. I personally just order food to take it to go. This is one of the three locations owned by La Estrella. This particular location serves breakfast food, and have carne asada and chicken for protein options, and they serve soups with Menudo only being served on the weekends. If you want to get cabeza, lengua, and other meat options for your food, then you can cross the street to order food at their other location. ”
“ The burritos were so good, I was jealous I didn't get one. So my son shared it. The tortillas were especially delicious, Yum...I've had the tacos many times, and I've never been disappointed. ”
“ I've been here weekly since about 2015. The prices have stayed pretty reasonable even with inflation on the up currently. Carnitas and asada tacos are my go to and they're served with either red or green salsa (it comes directly on the taco unless you ask for it on the side), lots of fresh onions and cilantro, limes, and a handful of radish slices. Throw some iodized salt on the radishes and pop one in your mouth then thank me later. You will leave here smelling like whatever you order so keep that in mind. As for the location... they don't exactly police their dining room so you end up with solicitors or the unhoused meandering around or through the eating area. They don't typically run the heat so keep that in mind as well. Anyway, you're here for the food right? Right. Can't go wrong at La Estrella and this location in particular seems to have the dankest tacos of all their chain locations. ”
“ Great food ! My family and I were impressed with the portions. It was our first time here and staff was friendly. I'd recommend it... ”
